Her

I see the way you look at her, eyes wide, so focused. Observing every detail, from her dainty toes, to the very top of her head. You know how many freckles there are on her face and you love each and every single one.

I hear the way you talk about her, so sweetly, so detailed. How her hair falls perfectly down her back and how the stray strands tickle her face in the wind, you say she's beautiful, all that you could ever want.

I notice the disappointment you're faced with when you see her looking at someone different the way you look at her. So unaware that I have felt this way all along, but we're best friends and I'm only known as your pal, buddy or your sister. That's all I'll ever be - so I keep quiet - because the hidden secrets are dangers to your ears.

I want you to look at me, the way you look at her.

I want you to talk about me, the way you talk about her.

You won't ever be disappointed.. Because I have loved you and I won't ever stop.
