Did nothing till end came

Then I knew what I’d missed

Beautiful people, beautiful things

To meet me they weren’t pleased

I joked and let life pass by

While others did something

Soon they had too much too many

And I ran after each penny

Pop Pop goes Popcorn

My life went that way too

Others threw things as old

And I had to wear them as new

Others were buried in style

And I lay where they threw.

You came late one night

Then you had a big fight

She just won’t listen to your arguments

She says. She was waiting for such a moment

She packed her bags

She says ‘I am going

You can keep the kid

That’s OK! That’s fine.’

Losing

You’re losing in this life

You don’t have a wife

You’re losing in this life

The years rolled by

And you grew old

While your son

Turned out strong and bold

He said one day

‘Pa, I’ll quit!

You can look after yourself

Isn’t that sweet?’

‘NO! Child, you can’t go like that!

I wasted my life for you’

‘Look! Pa, that isn’t fair!

I can’t waste my life for you?’

Losing

You’re losing in this life

You don’t have a son or a wife

You’re losing in this life.
