My novel, Angels, is a Christian Dystopian genre which is set in a tyrannical society called the Newly United Nations.Lakendra Vince lives in one of the nations, which is called Ponoma, and is an assassin for an evil dictator who the people call the Counselor. She does his biding and has never questioned his authority until her lifelong friend Zane Parker introduced her to the Angels of War movement. This new acknowledgment of a rebellious group of Christians ready to attack the government surfaces some secrets about Lakendra’s past that she never knew about. These recollections quickly get Lakendra recruited to help the movement. Filled with war, rebellion, life threatening events, and Lakendra’s search for self-worth, my novel, Angels, gives the reader an idea of what it’s like to be persecuted for your faith in Jesus Christ.
