Short Story: What have I done?

Mclane 9:00am. Red liquid gushes out of my mouth. Every cough presenting more and more blood. I could feel the thick blood flow through my veins and skin. My little brother, Andrew, stared at me with blank eyes, meanwhile. Not blinking once, I actually felt as if he was watching me. Of course it wasn't possible though. He was dead. He died 2 hours ago. After stabbing him in the chest, I cried for a couple hours. I thought someone as young as him could actually survive this cruel world. But in reality I knew from the start he didn't have a chance. Who did though in this unforgiving world. God is punishing humans by making us do the only thing we're good at, Destroying ourselves.

I didn't know how this virus worked and I didn't want to take any chances, so I cleaned the toilet spotless.

The first day I heard about this virus felt like yesterday. However, I would've never expected this outcome. Supposedly a single scientist had found the long awaited cure for cancer. As soon as the media got ahold of this news they couldn't think of anything except for shipping it out to millions of people. I'm sure there were no extra tests to see if there were side effects. There were most definitely side effects.

My feet trampled across the floor as I reached for my gun. Two zombies were approaching me. Even though there was a metal door between me and the zombies, I didn't want to take any risks. Two bullets went through each of their heads and a chunk of blood squired out of the hole I made. They both flopped to the ground and lay there still. The metal door flung open and came through was me. I studied the two corpses. One was a male and the other was a young girl. The young girl though twitched. Her mouth began to move and barely was able to whisper, "but..." my face frowned upon them. My coughing and blood got in the way of my vision. In result I killed two innocent humans. They were never dead. If it wasn't for the coughing...

Adrenaline shot through me as each step stomped the leaf Ryan
