~Prologue~

Who would've thought I'd be walking down the isle of the church that I have long forgotten. Wearing a dress twice too small that my breathing almost choked. And the ivory 6' blue heels that matched my dress aesthetically made my knees weak.

I was like a duck on ice, my legs were shaking noticeably and my nervous and crooked smile made me look like a complete mess. My father's fabricated laughter faltered a bit and the crowd of commoners were whispering furiously. I wanted the earth to swallow me up whole.

The fae and other trusted allies of the Colebrome kingdom looked on me with a vacant expression as if watching an ant. My steps got even heavier and so did my fathers embarrassment deep down I was secretly happy that he felt such emotion.

I had swallowed my pride and dared to come here and for what? Ha, well I'm not who I say I am.

Suddenly, I felt a cold hand.

"Princess Tiara"

Chapter One

My hands wiped the wooden bowls clean and then picked up another dirty dish this repeated itself as I was somehow immersed in my own world making sure I got every crevice.

My cabin was embedded deep in the woods disguised amongst the bush, trees and vines that has been growing for the last 5 years. I lived amongst the fae or fairies as non magickals called them. They helped around with housework or would sing sweet melodies of ancient wars or historical happenings. There's was one fae I liked in particular, she was smaller than most of her species and she was very clumsy yet she sang the most beautiful melodies the ear can hear.

She was a brown skinned fae with jade eyes and chestnut hair. She would usually talk to me about birds she'd run into and funny stories. She was my only company in the 5 years I lived here.

My thoughts were suddenly stopped as a soft knock landed on my wooden door.

"Mail for Tyziah!" Shouted a male parrot macaw.

I opened the door slightly surprised as nobody knew where I lived and reluctantly took the parasol that the parrot carried with ease. As I took it the macaw flew away with a speed that normal people would find frightening. I wasn't surprised at all as this was the Eloxibrum universe where magickal and supernatural things were possible.

I set the parasol on the oak table carefully opening it the first thing I encountered was a large sum of melum (Colebrome currency). Seeing this amount of money made me shocked.

'Who would send me this much money?!' My mind began to race as I quickly opened the package then I picked up a letter.
