Transfer Student Takashi

My name is Takashi Katakura. I am in my second year of high school, My shyness causes problems for me...

I have trouble speaking to new people, it's the reason I transferred to this school, which reminds me of my first day attending Ohashi High.

"He-hi my name i...s Taka...ashi na-nice to meet you" I remember thinking "at least this time it was just a few grins and quiet laughs." quickly i make my way to a seat furthest back closest to a window. Across from me is a girl seemingly quieter than the other students, I try not to make eye contact and give a friendly smile as I take my seat, she quickly responds "He-hi!" Figures she would mock me after how i introduced myself, I'm so embarrassed best lay low for a while people won't remember this forever.

And that's how I got here, last day of first semester "exam day" and I forgot to bring a pencil! I'm to nervous to ask  teacher for a pencil and I have wasted half the testing time, in that moment the sound of snapping wood rings through the room followed by the sound of a pencil being sharpened. I raise my head up from my test to see a girls smile as she reaches out to hand me half of her pencil, I stare past her radiant smile and long silky black hair to notice her eyes that won't look at mine. I sit in shock she's just like me. "g-good luck" whispers a familiar voice. She wasent mocking me back then she really is...

Hikari Yuzuyu

He-hi my name is Hikari Yuzuyu (Yuzu) I am a second year at Ohashi High School. I get nervous talking to new people,

I don't know many people, aside from my best friend I don't talk to anyone, That reminds me of the first day of school. "He-hi my name i...s Taka...ashi na-nice to meet you" he kind of acts like me, I remember thinking "he pushed himself hard to say that" as he walked torward me to his seat he shows me a gentle and nervous smile, the look goes well with his curly black hair. A "He-hi" accidentally slipped out of my mouth, i quickly put my head down in the the hope of sparring myself anymore embarrassment. I hope he does not remember this.

And that's how we got here. I'm not a very social person but I do consider myself a good person and student, So when the test began and I noticed Takashi did not start I wanted to help. I say wanted to help but how do I say "use half of my pencil" it's embarrassing, I continue glancing over at Takashi you can tell he wants to ask. In that moment I snapped my pencil in half and begin to sharpen the broken end it's so embarrassing it was loud the pencil breaking everyone must have noticed the sound. I reach my arm out with half of the pencil for Takashi he turns and I return his gentle smile he showed me when we first met. I look past his curly bed head and stunned smile and notice his eyes that won't look at mine. "G-good luck" He really is...
