She was cursed by the devil , and only she knows that on her 17th birthday , the devil will find her and take her breath..

The girl tried to break the curse , but no one has ever defeated a demon's will . 

Iron , salt and sharms protected her every night as she is slowly growing 17 but they will be no use when her time comes.

Little did she know , but her ring was the key to life , it was a ring passed down the generations of her family , it was cursed and will protect her when the time comes , and so she never took it off .

Time passes , and on her 17th birthday the devil seeked her soul  but the ring protected her , however, the demon never left ..

He was in the mirror of her room , walls of her house and her dreams as she rests , he was a shadow with no face , but she knew he was there , he was her nightmare and fear , deep in the nights , she would hear him laugh , and as the sun rises he would apear before her . Her life was a mess and she was lonely , scared and sad , but she never gave up , she had hope that one time , her life will change and she would be happy  .

A year had passed and they both changed .

She was lonely but he kept her company, he was her escape from loneliness and she was his light in darkness,

Did they talk ? Perhaps she would hear him sometimes, maybe he was the one singing in the night , maybe ..who knows ?

They were different but also alike ,

She was no demon , he was no human , but they both could feel , so close yet so far...

..

Is it the end ? No .. not yet .. 

She was growing fast , but her ring wasn't, she was careless until the day came and it broke ...

Who would protect her now ? The one that wants to kill her ? 

"Life is beautiful but also cruel.."

..

Fear grew in her , and no matter what, all the spells didn't work , 

In the end.. they are just words .

The devil knew , but did not want her soul anymore, humans change and so does the demons .

She was expecting death , she thought the game was over , but he just stood there , a dark shadow in front of her , but she didn't see him , her eyes were covered in tears.

Suddenly, the human felt a soft hand on her cheek whipping away her tears , she looked up and could finally see him ,

He had no face but she could see his smile , a gentle and kind smile , 

She smiles back happy as she hears a soft voice uttering :

"I love you .."

"I love you too"
