First Chapter: Introduction.

"Evelyn Jassmine Chagnon," My mother made no effort to breathe out my full name as she approached my door way.
"Mother."
I pointed at the boxes and luggage on the floor ready to be hauled out for our trip to Italy. Like that they were taken away.

She waltzed in, passing the workers of our families estate packing my things and taking them away. Somehow she just wasn't satisfied by how "slow" they were moving, she's never satisfied; my father told me so.

"We cannot afford this much of a delay, not today." She does her spiteful babbling on-and-on to me, mostly the workers, who manage to quicken up the process of packing and loading then repeat.
"Well, have you finished your packing?" I throw back at her hopefully to win the argument, placing my hands formed into fists on my hips.

She almost looked dumb-found for a quick moment, eventually a reply from the woman, "Yes, actually. Father and I got that done just recently." Dang, looks like I lose another argument to my mother.

"Then again the dining room is still in need to be finished up." I could hear my fathers voice chant out from down the long hallway. I burst out a smile on my face and run out of my room- my luck of running into a worker carrying the last important box of mothers valuables . By the time of me actually knowing whats going on, i'm sitting up on the floor. I rub my head where i'm guessing hit the floor, my eyes avert to the box, mothers things sprawled out all over the hallway floor.

"Miss Evelyn, dear, i'm so sorry."

Jen, one of our most loyal workers go down to his knees helping me up to my feet.
"I'm so sorry, I should have been watching where I was going. Forgive me madam, please."

"No no I should have been watching where I was going-" Mother cut me off

"Be more careful, Jen. I'm not paying for you to do your job incorrectly." Irritation rose high in my mothers voice.

"Yes, Mrs.Chagnon." Jen looked down at me, a wired smile tattooed to his face. I think I could even guess his fate that was coming to him. "I think Miss Chagnon may need to be checked-"

"Quiet, Jen. I've heard enough of you. Away now." Irritation was now at it's peak in my mother. I would know.

His long slender-fingers brushed off of my shoulder. Then down the long hallway quietly, out of sight he went. With that, another worker swooped in picking up my mothers belongings, placing them back into the box. Another took me away to her side, talking "baby" to me as she was checking on me. I could sense my mothers aggravation even when I was simply walking away. This is not going to be that so great of a trip that was intended. I should have known that in the first place, immature of me for thinking otherwise..

Second Chapter: Traveling.

I've been enduring this agonizing plane ride for 7 hours now of boredom, why can't we get there any sooner? I lay back in my seat with a groan, along with closing my eyes in the process. I perk up opening my eyes. My fingers make there way to my bag which I kept to my side pulling out my small, black poetry journal.

Of all the things i'm made to do, this is one I do free-willingly. Well that is when i'm not over-whelmed by all of my other activities. I mostly enjoy writing poetry to help get better at writing it. Sometimes my thoughts won't go on the paper like i'd want them to. I munched on my lip, deciding to try and writing something before we landed. So I got to work. Soon I was lost in thought while I was writing. I was able to manage 2 decent poems of my skills.

"I've noticed from a far

That being distant

Can only make people closer

The more you push away

The more people want to understand

I've noticed from a far that this is the only way I can understand."

"Door to door

I walk down the empty hall

which are filled with people.

They pass by and say hi

it's their duty

So I keep walking."

I pressed my journal closed, tying the strap around it so no one is to enter my sacred.

Third Chapter: Settling in.

As soon as we got settled into our vacation home in Sicily, Italy. I went straight to my bed, the jet lag hit me like a ton of bricks. I was curled in under my white comforter, I had asked the service for no disruptions, all I wanted to do is sleep. With that I was out like a light for a few good hours.

When I woke up, it was two o'clock in the afternoon, being truly honest I was still tired. I lay awake in my bed, I hugged onto a pillow. My face smushed into the pillow, I don't want to get up. That's when my stomach grumbled. Jesus.. I sighed sitting up leaving the warmth of my bed. Then Tina walked in; Tina is one of the special few to follow along with us on our journey,
"Miss Evelyn, are you awake?"

I smiled at her politely "And hungry."
"I can get you some lunch, what would you like?"
"I'll get it myself, calm down, Tina."

That being said I breezed down the hallways, skimmed my hand down the railing as I went down the stairs to the kitchen. Surprisingly there was already some food items in the refrigerator. I took out a tomato and decided just to have a quick snack. I made some wheat toast, along with sliced tomatoes dazzled with a pinch of salt on top. I looked out the window as I was chewing on my toast, a tall tan boy was walking down the street. His clothes were a bit baggy like they've been worked in.

I walked out of the kitchen door and watched him getting further and further away. What was I to do, call for him? How? I couldn't..
"Hey, you!" I blurt out to the young male and he turns around.
