Travelling in an APSRTC from Ongole to Hyderabad
Ongole is a city situated in Andhra Pradesh, is a blend of several cultures. This ancient city is richly covered with historical evidences and inscriptions belonging from the past. This evident city is well connected with roadways. A journey from Ongole is a comfortable 6 hours bus travel experience from Hyderabad.
I got my online tickets done from https://www.redbus.in/online-booking/apsrtc.aspx ; I opted for an APSRTC Garuda Semi Sleeper bus. It is a state owned bus service that was comfortable and I faced no problems while booking bus tickets from the bus reservation portal.
After a long time, I came up with plans to visit Hyderabad. After all, this city is bestowed with a myriad of attractions that keep pulling tourists from all over the globe. The rich feel of heritage and good road connectivity with other major cities makes Hyderabad a popular place of visit in India. I always wanted to experience this city in real!
I prefer buses while travelling because APSRTC buses leave from accessible boarding points. This saves time as I simply boarded the bus from Ongole Addanki bus stand at around 11pm. The bus stops in several places once it reaches Hyderabad, my drop location was S.R Nagar, which I reached at 5:30am. I had plans to stay at my friend’s place. Therefore, buses serve in a great way!
Moreover, the staff in the bus were extremely friendly and constantly assisted passengers in a polite manner. While travelling by bus just remember to carry your headphones and a few quick snacks to munch on, these will surely take away your boring times. You will pass through several scenic places, lush green fields and alluring highways. Eventually, my journey was during the night so the scenes were not visible through the windowpanes.
As soon as I reached Hyderabad, I quickly took a Cab from the bus stop to my friend’s place and grabbed some rest. Hyderabad is a fascinating city that offers an excellent panorama of the ancient times combined with vibrant cultural years.
