Fake IWC Pilot Worldtimer VS. Montblanc Orbis Terrarum

The IWC replica watch contains an ETA 2892 basic timepiece combined with an internal world time module. The Montblanc has no date, unlike the IWC Worldtimer, whose date display can be adjusted forward or backward, in sync with the World Time function. Nor is there a second hand or any way to account for daylight saving time. But the Swiss-made replica watch comes at a relatively low price at www.swissreplica.is.
The watch makes a good first impression. The center of the dial offers a beautiful view of the Earth from above. The names of 24 cities, representing the different time zones, circle the dial on a white bezel. The 24-hour ring, with a day/night format, is located outside the city ring. It is fascinating to see how the shifting dark blue part of the dial indicates the night hours between 6:30 pm and 6:30 am.
To align the time and location, first, use the pusher at 8 o'clock to position the desired "home city" with the small red triangular arrow at 6 o'clock. Mountain Standard Time, for example, would use Denver. Then the time is set using the crown by pulling it to the middle position to set the hour in hour steps. The city ring can now be used to read the time in different time zones. If you are traveling to a different time zone, the pusher at 8 is can be used to align the correct city with the red arrow at 6 am. The hour hand "travels," and the relationships between the different time zones remain unchanged.
The home time is read from the city ring road, and the new local time is read from the two centered faceted dauphine hands. Unfortunately, none of this can be seen in the dark, and even in daylight, the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum's legibility is not as good as that of the IWC Worldtimer.
The Montblanc is powered by Caliber MB 29.90, which is based on the Sellita SW300 automatic caliber. Because the watch does not have a second hand, the time cannot be set precisely. But the watch runs very well. The IWC includes Caliber 30750, based on the ETA 2892-A2. (Montblanc's Sellita base move is structurally identical to the 2892-A2.) During our timing test, it ran more accurately than the Montblanc: the price results were flawless in every position.
The Montblanc is powered by the Sellita SW300 with a Montblanc module.
Unlike the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum's city ring, that of the Worldtimer is not movable. By pulling the crown all the way out, past the time setting position, you rotate the 24-hour bezel to correctly align it with the 'home city'. When daylight saving time is in effect, it is read by following a line that ends with a point that extends to the next full hour. As long as it is daylight saving time, the local time should be aligned with this dot instead of the name of the city. Then the hour hand is set to the local time via the middle crown position.
When traveling to a different time zone, adjust the hour to the new local time using the middle crown position. All other positions (minutes and seconds) remain unchanged and continue. If the geographic change also includes crossing the international dateline, the date display will accommodate the change by properly moving the date forward or backward. If manual data correction is required (e.g., At the end of a month), the middle crown position is used to advance the hour until the correct data is displayed.
