Marnie P.O.V

Today is my First Day as a junior at my new high school, I recently transferred from my other school three towns over. Well I'm not really new here, we lived here in Field-Brook,Florida for thirteen years until my parents decide to move us unexpectedly 2 Years Ago.

Now here i am getting ready for my first day at Grisswood Prep. I gave myself one last look over in my full body mirror, my long brown hair comes past my shoulders my newly tan skin i got from being at the beach makes me look perfect.

I'm seriously considering bailing on school, but i don't want to mess up my G.P.A.

Don't get me wrong i'm not a geek or anything i just want to get into an ivy league school and to keep up my image as my parents perfect daughter.

I grab my School blazer and purse and i went downstairs, on my way out i seen my mom sitting at the kitchen counter on her laptop doing work related things.

She's this big shot lawyer who rarely show interest in anything including me. I walk passed her and went to the cabinet to grab a breakfast bar as i turned to leave i spoke ''bye mom i'm headed to school now "  

She looked up and didn't reply and just continued to type om her computer, so i started walking to the front door.

You see me and my dad are close on the other hand my mom seem to resent me for some unknown reason and only talks to me when she feels like it's necessary which is rarely.

I don't like to really talk or even think about it because if i do i'll do it for hours trying to find a conclusion as to why. I took out my car keys to my new Mercedes Benz i got as a birthday present from my dad. I get in a Head Towards the School.

Grisswood Prep is fifteen minutes from where i live, I'm going early because i'm a transfer student and i got to get my class schedule, locker combination and other things to get situated.

I arrive at school and park into an empty parking space and giving myself a pep talk before getting out of my car.

"You can do this. just go in and be yourself" i say before grabbing my keys and purse starting to walk towards the steps and into the school.

There where a couple of people in the school corridor and as i walk i felt their eyes on me. I just rolled my eyes and kept walking until i found the main door to the office.

I walk in and came into contact with the school assistant, i walk up to her and spoke " hi there, my name is Marnie Briggs the new transfer student." i tell her

She look up an gave me a genuine smile. "yes we have been expecting you, here is your class schedule, locker number and combination, sweetheart have a nice day also welcome to Grisswood Prep."

 More like Welcome to Hell i mumbled i say thank you and exited the office. 

i groaned "Let my day begin"
