Ambix sat and watched Sam practice on the training dumby while the ship was on auto pilot. She could see how quickly he was improving on his skills, and how quickly he was approaching being better than her. Of course she would never admit that, but she could see his skills rising every day. Sam stopped his beating on the training dumby and turned to her with a deep breath. 'Well, looks like I'm done' he said with a smile. Ambix grinned she looked to the training dumby which now looked like it had been through a tornado and back. 'I guesse you are Sam, good job. But you need to try harder next time.' Of course she was lying, for his age he was above and beyond what any one would have thought possible, but what could she say? 'Hey sam your way better than me, so why don't you go and get your own star ship' ? She wouldn't dare say that, she needed him.
Sam took his shower and returned with a new training dumby. He powered the dumby up and let it begin to swing in ever which way. The dumby, as the name implies aren't smart robots. But if they do hit you, you know to expect a bruise bigger than your face by tomorrow. Calmly I approached the Dumby and dodged it's attack, in return I kicked it square in the face. This process continued until the robot malfunctioned and shut down. I was breathless, my robot seemed to stay powered a lot longer than sam's, of course I knew it was just me though. I looked to sam with a playful smile and dramatically fell to the floor as if dead.

Sam watched as Ambix fell to the floor, he quikly ran to her side in shock ' ambix you ok' he said by her side looking confused and amibx got up laughing 'i fooled you!' sam faceplamed and laughed 'oh i am a fool' he laughs a bit and push ambix a bit 'oh you silly boy' she pushes him back and lands on dumpy droid. Some time later they made it to there destination coruscant where the jedi temple is at. Sam's mind wondered of what the occasion was about, master Sorna had called them in. 
Ambix came and said 'Ok were here' sam got ready and walked with Ambix to the Jedi temple.

Ambix heard the auto pilot announce in a robotized voice 'destination reached'. Ambix got Sam and they headed to the Jedi temple. They had been called to the jedi temple by master Sorna. One of the top jedis, he said he had a mission for the two. Ambix knew something must be wrong because Sorna told them to remain discreet when coming. Ambix couldn't help the flooding emotion of anxiety.
She walked slowly along with sam as they approached the Jedi temple. The guards at the door stopped them. 'Identification.' one fair skinned guard said as he held out a scanner. Ambix let him scan the microchip in her wrist, the machine turned green and the guarded nodded in approval. He did the same for Sam and sam was given permission to head in.
The two walked in silence. They were both worried about what would happen. Finaly the dreaded moment came and they entered Sorna's office. 'Good to see you' Sorna said in an unhappy voice, 'Please sit'.
Sorna got right to the point, 'It's Sepharoth, he's destroying other worlds.....We have sent troops to stop him, but he's to strong. Master Ken, he was wounded in battle. So that leaves you two.'
Sam jumped to his feet 'You want us to battle Sepharoth? You want me to sign my death certificate here and now?'
Ambix looked calmly to Sam she suddenly realized this was his destiny. He was so strong because fate had chosen him to stop Separoth. Of course she would help but it was he who would have Separoth's blood. Ambix pulled Sam back down 'We are honored by you choosing us.'
Sonra smiled a sad smile, 'Yes. Your departure is immediate, you leave as soon as your ship is stocked with supplies.' Sona turned his chair to face the window, Ambix couldn't tell if he was about to cry. He probably felt he was sending the two to their deaths, after all Sepharoth was the most powerful Sith lord.

sonra looks at them 'now i also gave you guys some clone troopers to help you, and the captain of the 50ist captain rex' rex walks in. 'good day jedis how are we today' he says ambix looks at sonra.' but i do not want anyone else to be hurt my the powerful sith lord' sonra loosk at her. 'well i do not want you to either rex to one of the most powerful clones in the republic army he and his troop will help you two greatly' ambix nods and smiles and sam just agrees to the plan. i will fight my hardest aganist separoth!' sonra smiles. well good now you guys go tomorrow this will be a big fight so rest up

conra came in the next day. ' rise and shine the troops are ready ambix and sam. now what is left is for you two to get ready and move out' sam quickly got up but ambix took some time. 'i see this maybe my end but i will fight my hardest aganist this foe' conra looks at him. 'you seem ready for battle but this is not a training game this is serious if you die you do not come back from this'. seeing ambix take some time getting up. hmm it seem that ambix knows this as well i hope for you two and the clones the best sepharoth is stronger but with all of you together you may defeat him but i news sepharoth must have sense us because his home planet is guarded by many sith and sepritst ships we must send a fleet to help you now move hurry.

Ambix got ready, avoiding eye contact with Sam. She had an awful feeling in her stomach of what would happen today. Should she tell sam how she felt about him? what would he say, or think? 
Ambix pushed the thought from her mind. She went to conra, her body practically trembling. She tried to hold her self together, but it was difficult not having much sleep and all.
'Alright weres sam?' Conra asked her ready for battle. 'He's coming' she said staring at the home world of sepharoth. After about three minute Sam came and stood besides Ambix. He looked like a man, gone was the child she had first met two years ago. 'Alright you two are gonna jump from the ship and surprise attack the droids and sith down there.' Conra said as he studied the two. 'Got it' Ambix and sam said at the same time. 'Alright lets do this.' Conra opened the ship door and the two jumped down into the battle field.
Naturally Sam acted like this was training. He slashed at the droids as if they were training dumbies. Ambix on the other hand took caution to how she fought. She would block the droid and when she saw and open hit she took it. The two battled through the droids easily. Running to the door of sepharoths base they saw two sith lords. One was a bald purple girl, the other was a bulky man.
'Sam take the girl' Ambix said with her light savior in hand.
'Me- why?' he asked like an upset child.
'Because the man is big and bulky, I'm quicker on my feet than you are.
With a roll of his eyes he replied, 'Fine'

sam charged at the girl and attack but miss and the girl pulled out to double lightsaber sam look back eye widen 'oh no help' the clones came out of the ship rex came. 'clone troopers attack the sith'clones started shooting but the sith girl dodge the shots and started slashing down sam came in and attack but the sith force push him away. 'uhh?!' fell down and hit the ships engine knock him out rex saw. 'no! you will not kill him!' attack the sith girl and jump on her and they fell down a hole.'ahh for the rebpluic!

Ambix head almost got sliced off when she looked to check on sam, the sith lady was about to attack him with a double lightsaber luckily the clone troopers came in. With that she went back to her own battle. Dodging the bulky man's attack she jumped behind him and stabbed her lightsaber through the back of the man. With a loud thud he fell to the ground. Ambix smiled at Sam who watched her strike down the man, 'I got skill, I know' she playfully joked. She looked to Sepharoths base. 'Lets go' she whispered under her breath.

that base is huge. looks at the big base and then see the down clones on the ground and captain rex falling to his doom with the sith lady. i guess we lost rex. looks down but then hears a sith fighter come in and start shooting at them it was sepharoths ' oh no its sepharoth!

sam looks at sepharoh and then at ambix looks upset at sepharoh. 'i will defeat you' sepharoh pull out lightsaber. 'haha young jedi die the fastest haha'. jumps down next to them.'let see who first.

As sam set Ambix gently on the ground he pulled out his lightsaber. Ambix breaths became quick and panicked. She was having a panic attack.
Ambix positioned herself on her side as she put her hand on her chest. She watched as Sepharoth and Sam battled. Here she was, the girl who always told same he needed more practice, here she was unable to fight. She began to cry only making it harder to breath. 
Sepharoth was quick and strong, his only weakness? His pride, his cockiness would be his fall. Ambix through short gasps called out 'Sam your smarter than him!' Sepharoth seemed to be affended by this, so he shot his hand out. Using the force he sent her flying in the air only to hit the wall and come crashing down to the ground. As sam looked back he saw her limp body, but to his relief he saw her breathing.

sam went to ambix's aid sepharoth follow and attack at sam but sam block with his lightsaber they push there lightsaber back and fourth sepharoth with more power push sam on the ground.' you are a poor excuse for a jedi its a shame i could change you but i have other plans' . looks at ambix and get sam lightsaber.' now young boy! you die' then the a gunship came and rex came out alive from the fall he sent some medic clones and gets ambix and sam and rex look at sepharoth. 'now its you and me ' sepharoth look at him and laughs.'what weak clone think they can kill me' .rex grab his hand a put a gernde in it. ' this is how' sepharoth eye widen and rex push the gernde .

Ambix watched as the star ship flew away, Rex sacrificed hiself. She screamed an awful scream and almost jumped out of the star ship to go get him; But sam grabbed her and pulled her to himself. At first she screamed and kicked and hit, all the while sam let her, still holding her. Finally she stopped and began to cry on sams shoulder. SHe couldn't hold herself up, she knew sam was doing all the work. 
After she had sobbed she looked to sam and whispered gently 'you know sam....'
Sam waited but she said nothing. Finally he said 'i know what?'
'I want you to know sam your perfect just as you are, you don't need any practice.' 
Sam knew ambix well, she wasn't just saying she liked him as a jedi, but as a person. He knew she was admitting her love for him.

the gunship fly back to coruasnt with a clone carrying the burned helmet of rex and sepharoth lightsaber but his body was not found sam came out of the gunship taking ambix who was still sad about rex gone to sonra and sam enter to see sonra looking out the window.' well i heard the battle was over and we lost a great soilder of the rebpluic army he will be miss' sam having his head down and looks at ambix.' sepharoth is dead right?' sonra look up. 'well i do not know myself but we did not find his body so he msut have blown up anyway good work.'pats sam on the back and smiled at ambix and walk off.

Ambix walked back to the star ship with Sam. She was still upset about what happened. Sam tried to comfort her as they walked, but she simply looked at the ground as she approached the star ship. 
Ambix went straight to her room and cried. She then realized she need sam to be with her. SHe almost wanted to run to him, but she calmly walked into the lounging area. Sam was sweaty, practicing his fighting skills. Ambix sat on the bench and watched him until he finally said 'So i guesse everything's back to normal than' She was surprised how well he was handling this, but Sam was never the type to open up.
'It doesn't have to go back to normal' She said looking at sam. 
Sam almost confused stopped his practice and looked back at her. 'What....do you mean?'
Ambix walked to Sam, her head slightly tilted. 'You know what i mean.' 
Sam almost had an expression of sympathy. 'You know we can't.'
Ambix walked right in front of sam wrapping her arms around his neck 'Who will know?'
She knew sam was always a follower of rules, but she had to try. 'i-I can't' sam said softly with his head down
Ambix kissed him gently saying 'we can'
That night they laid in a passion.
But from that point on Sam never admitted he loved Ambix, or even tried to approach her. When Ambix would approach him he'd tell her sternly that it was against the rules. 
Ambix found it better to push that night from her mind. She went back to just being Sam's mission partner, even if she felt more for him. She didn't approach him in that snese anymore, and she simply stayed his friend.
