A Million Lanterns, A Million Souls

Tablo reader up chevron

I once had a dream, that when somebody good dies, their soul is preserved, and they are sent to The Island Of The Loved Dead, where they may live in harmony, with a million lanterns in the sky.

Hope And I

Good dreams,

bad dreams,

hope and I.

Is it worth keeping hope?

Should my hope die?

But with hope,

my soul's a lantern,

and it shall fly.

The night black,

the stars silver,

the crescent moon's on a string.

If only I could touch the night's

sliver with my hand.

Pumkin Light

Pumpkin light,

oh so bright there on my porch.

A smile with only three teeth,

those dear triangular eyes.

I sometimes wish

to walk in the night,

by only a pumpkin lantern's light,

get lost,

get lost,

and wander 'till morning,

'till that morning light.
